Al Khatmat Ports LLC (AKP) is a joint venture between NNG and Chimaera Group of Australia, which has extensive experience and proven capability as a developer of brownfield projects, supported by a global network of technical service providers. AKP holds a license to build and operate a port to export mining products in Khatmat Milaha, Shinas, Sultanate of Oman. The port along with the overland transport and facilities are designed to handle different mining products at the highest efficiency levels, and will provide open access to all companies and crushers. As such, the project will play a key role in supporting national economic and mining industry strategies. The project work is in progress.
